Salvaged and Repurposed
Here at the Cross we have a deep obsession with textiles, from dyed shibori silks, to hand-embroidered laces. We lose our hearts over breath-taking block-prints, habotai silks and intricate intarsias. So, it’s a natural collaboration for us to work with TOTeM Salvaged, having discovered them many moons ago in Paris.
California based, designer Stephanie Larrowe of TOTeM Salvaged brings new life to items that have previously been forgotten, collecting dust in an attic somewhere. Carefully sourcing and salvaging vintage materials from all over the USA and repurposing them into a thing of beauty.
Specialising in vintage Navajo blankets, American flags, Chimayo textiles, 1940’s print fabrics, bandanas, denims, Serape textiles, equestrian tack, leathers and needlepoint; TOTeM Salvaged handcraft these amalgamated finds to create pieces that truly are one of a kind.
