We’re thrilled to present the work of local artist Phoebe Oliver at the Cross.

If you’ve visited us recently, you may have spotted her striking artwork displayed throughout the store. We’re currently featuring her mystical and romantic Tarot Card Series: The Lovers, The World, and The Empress. These dreamy, psychedelic paintings are simply magical. The series draws inspiration from traditional tarot iconography, specifically the Rider-Waite-Smith system, with a nod to vintage illustrations and the iconic work of Pamela Colman Smith

In addition to the Tarot Series, we’re also proud to exhibit Phoebe’s Alphabet Series, a playful and imaginative collection that brings letters to life in her signature style. These pieces are done by commission, price on application. Inspired by comic book illustrations, packaging imagery and children’s book illustrators such as Jan Pieńkowski and Richard Scarry, Phoebe has developed a unique and instantly recognisable style that’s all her own.
