Crafted from rare vintage African textiles sourced from the private archive of Ondine Saglio of CSAO, each bag is a one-of-a-kind piece of textile history. The fabrics are handwoven in narrow strips and feature distinctive openwork detailing, reflecting a rich tradition of West African craftsmanship.

Sam has thoughtfully reimagined these beautiful textiles, pairing many of them with vintage French linen from her own collection to create the linings and patchings. Handmade at a specialist atelier in India, each unique bag is an example of artisanal making.
