Victoria Martínez Velasco, a designer and supporter of the textile arts is responsible for many of Matta's beloved pieces from Mexico. This style is entirely made by hand by a cooperative of women in the valleys around Oaxaca. Note the traditional crochet technique with a star motif, entirely hand stitched.
