Scarlette Ateliers Poupee Cotton Doll
The SilaiWali Dolls are all made from scraps of cloth, with a bed like packaging, the dolls have their very own handmade pillow, futon and bed cover. These rag dolls have been made in collaboration with the SilaiWali association which employs a group of Afghany women in Dehlil. Each of the eco friendly, ethically designed doll is one of a kind, the proceeds from this product support sustainable income and development for the SilaiWali artisans.
While working in the textile industry in India, Pauline opened her own guesthouse in New Dehli, this is where Scarlette Ateliers was born, some of her first pieces being created here! Pauline has taken inspiration by objects found with in Indian markets and making an effort to enrich her products with local craftsmanship, beauty and nods ancestral methods.
Scarlette Ateliers creates beautiful fabrics, crafting nightwear to household items such as tablecloths and curtains! Each item is made from 100% cotton that are woven manually on wooden looms by Indian artisans.
