Sam was introduced to Yaser Shaw by Katia Samson of Sharing Jewellery. Knowing the Cross and Yaser, Katia knew it would be a perfect pairing. One look and feel of Yaser Shaw’s cashmere and Sam was hooked. The totally charming Yaser Shaw and his family company create some of the finest entirely handmade shawls in production today. The covetable colours, intricate embroidery and sumptuous feel have garnered an immediate following. Each meeting with Yaser, Sam agonises over making an edit. Each scarf is simply a work of art.
Sam and By Walid
Sam and Walid have worked together for nearly two decades. It’s an understatement to say that Sam is lover of textiles, so when amongst Walid’s designs, Sam is in heaven. She has lusted over Walid’s collections for years, finding it hard to resist his vintage kimono silks, 19th century linens and handstitched patchworks. Every meeting with Walid is infused with laughter and joy, not only is he a talented designer but an utterly infectious personality. We are proud to stock his one-of-a-kind pieces.

Following their 25 year anniversary and an intimate profile piece in the New York Times, Maria Cornejo won the Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award from the CFDA. Alike in our ethos, Zero ignores seasonal trends and creates timeless pieces that you will keep in your wardrobe for years to come. Keeping it in the family, Maria’s talented and dynamic business partner is Sam’s sister-in-law, Marysia Woroniecka. A label close to hearts in more ways than one, it has been a joy to collaborate over the years.
